CP+B’s Brand Innovation team took an ownership stake in innovative startup, MobileDay in return for providing brand and design leadership.

The MobileDay app allows users to dial into any conference call meeting in their mobile calendars with a single tap of a button. All the phone numbers and participant codes are automatically entered saving valuable time and stress. The problem was that the design and experience were not as simple as the functionality.

Our redesign and experience philosophy was to lean into the simplicity and make the experience as elegant as the functionality.

MY ROLE

As an integral member of the Brand Innovation team I was imbedded with Mobile Day’s UX team and played the role of experience director and strategist. In addition to providing experience design leadership, I also managed the relationship between our design team and MobileDay's internal UX/UI teams ensuring that the final result was aesthetically in line with the strategy.

THE RESULTS

With a simpler, more modern and elegant design, MobileDay has been featured in Fast Company, Entrepreneur, and TechRadar and is one of the most popular business and tele-conferenceing apps in both the Android and iOS stores
